We designed this new custom residence with soft airy tones infused with pops of colors to create an inviting, comfortable and warm welcoming home for all to enjoy. With it's modern plantation exterior, the gorgeous custom entry doors open into a large great room that extends out to an expansive lanai overlooking the golf course. As you meander through the home, you experience all the layers that made this house a home.
This charming Hawaiian cottage with detached dwellings called for something unique. Working with the existing architecture, we refinished this home with new doors, trim, custom millwork, flooring, lighting, textured wallpapers and toned down wood ceilings for a cohesive interiors layered with soft, airy furnishings to create a serene getaway for our clients.
Transformed this previously dark and heavy home into a fresh and airy space while respecting the original craftsmanship. We reused some of the exotic woods where we saw fit as to not waste unnecessary materials. New tiles at the kitchen allowed for the existing mango wood to be shown off in all it's glory. Infusing the blues and greens of the Hawaiian landscape paired with neutral tone textiles created a balanced environment that is warm and inviting. Bold accents add interest while still feeling calm and relaxing overall.
Embracing the surroundings of this home, we were inspired by the ocean and mountain views. Finding the balance between the architectural wood tones with the fabric selections and furnishing textures were key to create a warm, yet, fresh and inviting home that seamlessly flows from the exterior to the interior.
